A number of new Funding Actions are expected to be published within the next few months up to the first months of 2025 to support businesses and investments.
A general entrepreneurship action, with an estimated budget of around €300-350 million, is planned to be published soon through which investment projects of SMEs with a clear orientation towards extroversion will be financed and a special grant premium will be provided for companies that are the product of a merger.
In addition, 3 more subsidised actions are expected by the end of the year, namely “Support for the Production of Audiovisual Works in Greece”, “Adaptation Plans for SMEs with a capacity of 20-50 Annual Work Units (AWUs)” and “Support for self-employment in selected target groups”. The total budget of the three is estimated at €170 million.
Through the Hellenic Development Bank, in the first months of 2025, 2 Actions are expected: 1. the “Patent Fund” through which innovative businesses will be supported for the development and registration of patents and even the creation of prototypes based on them with a total budget of approximately €40 million and 2. the Microcredit Fund for the provision of microcredit loans to SMEs and professionals with a total budget of €60 million.
