The first “Manufacturing – Supply Chain” scheme of the new Development Law 4887/2022 was announced.
The opening date for applications is next Thursday 1th of June 2023 and the closing date is 29th of September 2023.
The purpose of the scheme is to support investment projects in the manufacturing sector, with the exception of the processing of agricultural products, for which a special scheme is established, and investment projects in the supply chain sector, aimed at technological, production, administrative and organisational upgrading, as well as innovative and outward-looking development and growth, with a view to strengthening the competitive position of enterprises on the domestic and international markets.
Aid rates
Under the Regional Aid Map, the aid intensity is expected to range from 15% to 75% depending on the size of the company and the region in which it is located.
Budget of the Scheme
The total budget of this scheme for the year 2022 amounts to one hundred and fifty million (150.000.000) euros, of which seventy-five million(75.000.000) euros concern the type of aid of the tax exemption.
The remaining seventy-five million euros (75,000,000) have to do with the types of aid of the grant, the leasing subsidy and the subsidy for the cost of the employment created and derive from the Public Investment Budget of the Ministry of Development and Investment.
